THE SHAPES OF TIME curated by Stefania Carrozzini for Nyarts Beijing space brings together five Italian artists. Through the artistic mediums of photography, paintings, sculptures, installations the artists develop the unique concept of this distinctive exhibit.

There are many reference to the history of the art about temporal dimension, narrative of places suspended in a seemingly distant time.

The exhibition – “ The shapes of time “ which shows paintings and drawings, offers an occasion to see how the artists had work on this theme. In the process of shape dematerialization the artists through the repetition and doubling of images, through the imprinting, they try to cause a layering in time space and the perception of the shape. By doing so they aim to make works that contain different possibilities.

The artists developed the concepts of time and the space, the time and the shape. Altering space time coordinates seams to be very frequent in the artists research through the history of art. It means something different for everyone – this is its richness. If the work of art creates the space and the space creates the work of art , the time of perception also play an important role and defines the work of art itself.

Work of art is a space for contemplation, a space that create a view into reality.
It is also a frame, or beyond the frame, a work of art breaking out the boundaries and opened in many directions, in which you can experiment emotionally the present moment.
